我们的论文都会面临需要查重这个问题，一般英语论文我们都希望尽可能地将重复率降低到10%之内，小编将从自身经历出发，分享一些关于降重英语论文的经验，希望能给读者们带来一些帮助。

第一步

First of all, if you want to have a low repetition rate, you should ensure that this paper is your own original, and there are relatively few references to other people’s content. We can learn other people’s methods and ideas, but the whole paper should be the result of your own thinking and integrate different innovation points. It must be different to express it in words. If you want to copy and paste other people’s papers to achieve a very low repetition rate, it must be very difficult.

OK, even if you meet the first step, you will find why the repetition rate of my own original articles is still high, so we need to consider the second step, synonymous substitution.

同义替换

小编又将同义替换分为两种，一种是善用缩略词，第二种是用高级词汇替代常用词汇。

善用缩略词，小编用下面的例子说明：比如中文词汇“绿色闭环供应链”，翻译成英文“Green closed-loop supply chain”，然后进入查重软件，你会发现标红一片，几乎涵盖Green closed-loop supply chain的句子重复率都很高。这个时候我们可以进入谷歌学术，发现闭环供应链的表达可以精简为CLSC，把全文的Green closed-loop supply chain都精简为Green CLSC。比如中文词汇“政府绿色采购”，翻译成英文“Government green procurement”，在谷歌学术中进行查询后，发现可以精简为“GGP”，这样重复的概率是不是就小很多了呢。一般情况下，较长的专业名词应该都是有相应的缩略词的。

For example, the Chinese word “government green procurement” is translated into English “government green procurement”. After querying in Google academic, it is found that it can be reduced to “GGP”, so the probability of repetition is much smaller. In general, long professional nouns should have corresponding abbreviations.

The second is to replace common words with high-level words. Our English papers are usually written in Chinese first and then translated into English. There will be many expressions in such English papers, which are Chinese. For example, “this paper uses the method of evolutionary game.” Generally, we will directly translate it into “this paper uses the method of evolutionary game.”, At first glance, there is no problem with this sentence, but when you think about it carefully, the predicate is “use”. When the subject is human as the meaning of “use”, this sentence appears to be Chinglish. “Evolutionary game theory is adopted in this article.” Translated into “evolutionary game theory is adopted.”, Will the article appear more academic?

语态转换

主动句转化为被动句。将重复率较高的主动句转化为被动句，相当于调整句子结构。在保持句子原本意思的情况下，保持专业词汇不动，调整顺序，尽最大可能避免重复，在意思并列的几个句子里，可以变换句子的顺序。

Active sentences are transformed into passive sentences. Transforming active sentences with high repetition rate into passive sentences is equivalent to adjusting sentence structure. In the case of keeping the original meaning of the sentence, keep the professional vocabulary still, adjust the order, and avoid repetition as much as possible. In several sentences with parallel meanings, the order of the sentences can be changed.

第四步

重整旗鼓

如果在完成上述步骤后，重复率还是较高。一方面，把重复率降不了下来的段落删除，再换个思路增添新的段落，以保证字数要求。另一方面，高度重复的句子，在自己的全文理解非常透彻的情况下，换一个描述角度，即重写这些部分。

If the repetition rate is still high after completing the above steps. On the one hand, delete the paragraphs whose repetition rate cannot be reduced, and then add new paragraphs with another idea to ensure the word number requirements. On the other hand, for highly repetitive sentences, if you understand the full text very thoroughly, change the description angle, that is, rewrite these parts.
