SharpCam was inspired by the internet revolution and is the brain child of Julian Paphitis, who has over 25 years experience in the CNC industry.
We are the first CAD/CAM company to adopt the business model of selling software only through the internet. More and more companies are reducing costs and dependency on distributers, in order to bring the customer a more cost effective solution.
The internet continues to transform markets and we feel the time is right for the CAD/CAM industry to follow suit. Internet connection speeds are forever increasing, therefore the issue of support and backup is now practical and advantageous in this environment.
