Church gets building permit

西班牙百年’违建’终合法

Barcelona’s famous Sagrada de Familia is finally set to get a building license, 136 years after work on the still uncompleted church began. Construction on the UNESCO World Heritage basilica, which is Barcelona’s most visited tourist attraction, began way backin 1882 based on a design by architect Francisco de Paula del Villar y Lozano.

Painkillers may help soothe the heartache of a break-up as well as ease a sorehead. Scientists say women who takeibuprofencan feel less upset by failed romance. A study showed they experienced less hurt from social rejection or whilerecallingpast betrayal.

Firm monitors sleep patterns

A Tokyo-based wedding planning company recently announced the implementationof a “sleepremunerationsystem” to encourage its workforce to get more sleep. The company, CRAZY, has teamed up with Airweave, a startup specializing in sleep analysis technology, and will be monitoring its employees’ sleep patterns.

Seaplane starts water tests

国产两栖飞机水上试飞

The world’s largest amphibiousaircraft, the AG600, carried out its first takeoff and landing on waters in Jingmen, Hubei province on Saturday. Developed and built by the State-owned aircraft giant Aviation Industry Corp of China, the seaplane took off from the ZhangheReservoirat 8:51 am and stayedairbornefor about 15 minutes. The AG600 made itsmaidenflight in late December in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, taking off and landing at an airport.
