什么是Mathtype？
Mathtype is a powerful interactive mathematical equation editor that allows users to create mathematical notation for word processing, web pages, desktop publishing, presentations, and TeX, LaTeX and MathML documents.

Mathtype功能介绍
1、兼容许多程序和 站：
Mathtype适用于800多个应用程序和 站，包括:Microsoft Office软件，Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, Mac Mail, Microsoft Outlook，Mathematica,枫木InDesign, QuarkXpress，黑板,Moodle WebAssign维基百科等等。

1. Compatible with many programs and websites:
Mathtype works with over 800 applications and websites including: Microsoft Office software, Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, Mac Mail, Microsoft Outlook, Mathematica, Maple InDesign, QuarkXpress, Blackboard, Moodle WebAssign Wikipedia and more.
2. More symbols, templates and fonts:
More fonts: Mathtype has more symbols and templates than the equation editor. You can use the 1000 math symbol fonts already on your computer, as well as math fonts that can be downloaded from the Internet.
Find Symbols: Mathtype’s Insert Symbol dialog allows you to explore available symbols and insert them with a single click or keystroke.
3. Save time:
Save Expressions from the Toolbar: Drag and drop frequently used equations and expressions into the Mathtype toolbar to insert them later with a single click or keystroke.
Keyboard Shortcuts: Mathtype provides customizable keyboard shortcuts for nearly every symbol, template, and command.
4. Better display effect:
Color: Coloring an equation can make it stand out. Highlight a part of the equation with a color to keep students’ attention on it. Shows what has changed in each step of a multi-step process.
